This tastemaker is a jack-of-all-trades — a chef, a celebrity and an author. His famous Travel Channel show chronicles his extreme culinary adventures (think eating a raw eyeball off of a seal carcass). And his new show, The Layover, explores a different city in each episode in only 24 to 48 hours. When he isn’t in front of the camera, he pens cookbooks and crime novels. This native New Yorker is known to be outspoken and opinionated, and he serves as the chef-at-large in New York City’s famed Brasserie Les Halles.
