We took a plane, train, bus and then a gondola to arrive in Switzerland’s Gimmelwald, a tiny village perched high in the Swiss Alps. The springtime snow that carpeted the area was a pleasant surprise and provided us with beautiful views. This photo was taken as we walked the path from Gimmelwald to Mürren — a nearby town with a few shops and restaurants — where we cozied up for a hearty lunch in a small hotel.
